It's funny how format changes make equipment obsolete before its time. I have two of these sitting in my garage, waiting for a new home...

That's 6 of one and half dozen of the other... I was quite the giddy little biznitch after setting up the Sonos Playbar/sub in the new shanty, and realizing my "stereo" was in the palm of my hand.

No shame in that; JVC residing in my garage, with an iPhone 4S as the feed.

I do still have my old nicad dewalt radio/charger. It’s been the most durable one to date.

Those were rock solid work site radios, have had horrible luck in recent years with others ranging from the Makita, Bosch and Porter Cable just dying less than 2 years in. I've gone over and carry an ION radio, rechargeable and last about 35hours on the battery and they are LOUD making them ideal for tailgating or beach trips. Bluetooth, and the battery is user replaceable. Best part is it's only $100, which is a lot easier to swallow compared to the others.

Blasphemy.....no soundbars in this house EVER!
JBL Summits for front left and right and Bose 301 center channel, large Onkyo rear channels, pioneer 7.1 surround system feeding Mcintosh amp and EQ for the front channels. There's no need for a SUB.

I'm still down for that Beginners Clinic tomorrow. Don't think I'd be able to get there today anytime soon with all the traffic....
