Received my Pelfreybilt hidden winch mount this morning. Today will be spent getting it painted (same with the brackets I'm going to use to mount my rock lights). I'll let it cure this afternoon and all day tomorrow before installing on Sunday.

That's awesome! I did the same thing about a year ago and use it almost everyday. I built a little platform for mine but yours is sleek and very well hidden!

Thanks! I wanted to keep it hiddin just in case I wanted to swap it out, or repurpose the 12v socket.
Did you wire it up the same way? I was torn between using the add-a-circuit and splicing into the existing cigarette outlet wires!

Yep exact same way. I didn't want to overload the factory circuit. Granted the chances of both factory plugs and the wireless charger all being used at the same time is unlikely, but at least this way I know it'll be good forever no matter what.

I tried there and my phone wouldn't pick up the charger. Then again that's when I had an s5 with an aftermarket qi charger added so that is probably why.

I thought about putting it there too! I decided on the compartment because I could put it there without it sliding around.

The Qi chargers charge better when they are closer to the phone, that could have been part of it. That’s why I took my charger apart and put the charging coils directly against the plastic of the compartment. That way the phone was as close as possible to the charger

Yea I did that with it but for some reason it wouldn't work behind the gear shifter, but when I built my platform in that cubby it worked great. Wierd how things work sometimes.

Went and explored my hunting trails after the rain a few days ago. I made it nearly all the way around the 1.5 mile loop but there was one spot that was 18" deep water with some mud under it. I turned around there.

I was surprised. My neighbor goes back there all the time but after they logged this year he got bogged down with his KO2s. I was able to make it just fine with my KM2s that don't have much meat left in them. Hardly needed 4x4.

Thanks! And changed for a few reasons - Saved Quite a bit of weight up front, gained a lot more clearance, its unique and looks amazing IMO (only one in existence so far) plus I'm good friends with Brandon from school and know hes a stand up dude putting out quality products!
