I remember this drive home, 11N was a mess as well. I had never driven in crazy snow on the highway before, it was a learning experience for sure :cookiemonster:

We should keep an eye on the forecast. Don’t want people getting stuck in shitty weather and getting hurt for a snow run

So the goal is for it not to snow on the day of the snow run? :D Nature is usually not that cooperative but we can hope. :fingerscrossed:

Shit I take it back. I’m guaranteed to get stuck in that. Stock sport suspension sucks.

Lol. It was a while ago. Truck has changed a lot. Still blows my mind how fast all of this happened.
You will be fine. If you get stuck we will get you out. It will be a fun time. The biggest thing is your tires. Suspension will only help with how deep you sink. Bigger suspension the more you sink.

    This is true.

The good thing is we are on a trail that’s passable by car in the summer. So it’s not like your going to get hung up and do damage. Worst thing is your mud flaps. Mind you there are some hills that you have to be careful on but it’s a good time.

I couldn’t believe how much abuse they took before they broke. Hell, mine broke in a parking lot way back when. Your we’re getting dragged on rocks with no issue.

and to think the one that did finally broke only had a crack in it so one of the bolts that's supposed to hold it wasn't doing anything.

all from that rock you drop off into the water crossing on the way out.

I had to remove the stock mud flaps because of winter. The snow here gets so deep on the road and beside the road when you pull off into someone's driveway, the stock flaps where getting hung up and dragging constantly on everything. I put the universal fit sparco flexy ones on, and it fixed it all.

Yes, I was coming back from Vermont & got stuck there. Placed the truck in reverse and reached the exit I passed before (which was close) & then drove back home, instead of sitting hours there like most people did.
