I figured it was all gravy but you gave me a moment of panic there, because usually when people talk about their SBR it's "holy shit I finally got my form 1 this is the best day ever!" not "I just threw this bad boy together" and that stupid pistol brace ruling is oft misinterpreted (and some of the designs really are just stocks pretending not to be IMO).

Don't forget Waco too. How they bungled the apprehension of Koresh so badly- he left the compound relatively often, and they not only didn't just snatch him, they also tipped off the media about the raid and a dipshit reporter asked a mail carrier who just so happened to be Koresh's freaking brother in law.

Just ordered a Ballistic Advantage AR15 barrel. Details: 223 Wylde chamber, 416R Stainless Steel, Contour: SPR with heavy flutes. Length: 16". I have heard nothing but good about these barrels and want to try one out. I have a bunch of parts collected to make it a nice build. Probably take a couple weeks to get here with the Holidays almost here.

What twist rate? I've heard good things about them too. I always have fun building ARs- but now that I have this Knights I've gotta pimp it out bigtime! All the basics are already top notch though, trigger is one of the best combat triggers out there, safety is already ambi, mag release and bolt catch are ambi, pretty much all I have to do is pick a grip to replace the A2 grip and maybe a different stock, then start putting rounds downrange until I can afford an ACOG.

 

So bought this on my Reno trip. 196 shot 5 barrel single Roman candle. I'm going to have fun lighting up my brother in laws and brother tomorrow night for our annual Christmas eve Roman candle war.
