Had mine rebuilt a few months ago. Started leaking with like 8,000 miles on them. I’m going to make them last 2018 and get kings for Christmas next year. The truck got too many mods this year. Bumper, winch, tires, skids, tundra brakes, headunit, retros and a ton of smaller shit haha.

I have to go to Sonoma today. I'll be there around 10 to 1100. Any place in particular I should stop for a burger and a beer? Doesn't have to be a burger, though.

Hopmonk will satisfy both those needs pretty well...

The taco truck that’s parked in front of the skate shop a few blocks south is always a good bet...

Fremont is dope, but Saturday on a holiday weekend might be busy AF.

I may have tweaked a few things...
Anyone here have experience changing rack and pinion bushings on a 2nd gen? In the tutorials I've found so far removing the rack seems like a bit more than I want to deal with, but I've seen some indication that it is easier on a Prerunner. Would that mean I might be able to replace them without removing the rack and disconnecting any fluid lines?

I have new springs to put in and I thought I would look at doing the r/p bushings at the same time. I have to take a closer look at my tie rods though, if they also need to be replaced I might just do the springs now and tackle steering separately later. I think I'm mostly afraid of taking on too much in a weekend as this is my daily driver.

    Any advice is appreciated!

I would have to say, one step at a time if it's a daily driver. Springs? Super easy piece of cake. To rod ends? Easy just mark them and compair to new and Mark them as well. This will give same length or very close to. R&P bushings? I chickened on mine and got lazy. I friend of mine does them at my local big O. He also completed them a a short time and threw it on the alignment rack too.
I ended up doing upper and lower ball joints and full lift in the same sitting with minimal help. Also used a 60 ton shop press for some things. I again cheated. All work said and done about five hours. Yet again I've done many and do wrench at work. So I have lots of experience.
