That's gotta suck. Dodging idiots to get to work, freezing your ass and putting up with ungrateful customers (more often than not) off all day then dodging idiots to get home.

One of the occurances that happens here during winter is the snowbirds going through the freeway fence. I-8 runs east/west and there are frontage roads that parallel. South Frontage is the most traveled. Somehow or another, 4 or 5 times per winter people end up on the freeway between my office and my house. So, since I have to travel east to get home, I take the freeway and stay in the left lane...and we don't even have ice or snow! The other scary part is most of these visitors are from northern tier states and Canada. How in the hell did they get around all those years before coming here for the winter!?

They had a permanent case of the brain freeze? Got down here and their heads thawed out and now we find out they are just plain stupid.
I hate snowbird season. Fricken protected species.
Its time to allow us to hunt em like coyotes.:infantry:

I think Kim may be pondering his own "badassness" and thinking he's more than a little short about now.

They're mostly contained to the trailer parks and LTVA's, but they are free to go to bingo, Wal-Mart, restaurants and grocery stores. That's where it gets dangerous. I live (relatively) close to a huge grocery store and there's a Wal-Mart between here and work! Fortunately I go to work before they hit the roads so just the return trip home is iffy.

My plan is to hole up here and be like the rest of the senior natives...stay home or have your children who haven't fully developed road-rage drive you around..
