You guys are too cautious. Grip em' and rip em'. Plastic is very forgiving.

@9TRDTCO the pictures can be deceiving depending on exposure and the angle. They are brighter than stock.. that's all I can say:)

I was taking the photos at dusk so it was getting dark out which makes them look brighter. As @mesojdm said, it all depends on brightness outside, camera settings like exposure etc. They are definitely brighter than stock and look great. I’m sure all V3’s are equally bright and equally awesome!

What the hell!? Why are people washing cars today in the rain?! So much for the car wash bay idea. See, bad luck.

Because I'm impatient and want to be like the cool kids, I just pulled.

First to post v3's on Inferno, I think.

    Before, obviously.......

    20171223_134230.jpg 20171223_134237.jpg

    And about 6 minutes later........

    20171223_140201.jpg
    20171223_140209.jpg

Now I gotta replace the silver pinstripes with black, black out my badges and grill, and start saving up for black tail and head lights.

The v3's even had that new mod smell! Love it, thanks @mesojdm ,you rock :headbang:

Still waiting on some decals though

    Another satisfied customer!

I vote, just ditch them all together. They ruin the lines of the truck. But of course, that's just my opinion, and we all know what opinions are like.

Hmm, they do like bright as f there compared to your shot. I'm sure like the above poster mentioned, there are some external factors that would affect how the image shows up, but that's a pretty big difference. Wondering if anybody has video of stock vs. V3, that's probably the best medium to really compare.

Thanks for sharing - I just sent @mesojdm payment for whenever he has some more in stock, so very curious!

Mine are still in transit and my rav4 blindspot mirror is within 20 miles. Is it wrong to snarl when opening my Christmas gifts knowing my me-so magic signals are still a few days away. Oh the frustration.

I think you have to consider the illumination loss in the day time due to the fact these are smoked. At night however I expect them to be considerably brighter. If someone wanted to, there are lumen apps you can download to do a true test.

Me I'm a mod whore so I'm freaking ecstatic at how cool these look all stealthy like. I had to run out to pick up the wife at the hair dressers after I was done and not to sound too snobbish but I was checking out other Tacos with the OEMs and was like Yea, this is definitely cooler, phhhttt, lame. I'm an old old biker and one of the coolest part of that lifestyle was being different and unique. My cages are no different. My mods might not blow everyones hair back but to me they freakin rock. This one is no different. The layman may never even notice, or care, or think it's stupid but to me, every little thing you do makes your vehicle more like you and your personality traits show in them. I could give two shits how anyone thinks about what I do to my vehicles. I also never put anyone down for what they do to theirs. I may not agree but I never bash them.

The funny thing is, I'm 55 and don't ever want to change either. I'm not compensating for anything. I consider mods an expression of the person doing them, and from mild to wild, it's what makes us all unique.

Yea, I like them on the Sport but I have thought about it. Would love to do copper to match the wheels. I might also replace the bed Decals with the Maryland flag versions.

But part of me is with ya.
