On another note I went to the city and was there for a couple hours, the inspector wasnt there however but I did get to speak with the engineering, building dept as well as the permitting dept and everyone was very helpful. I may have found a way to mitigate the issue at hand.

That boomerang is coming back....and probably not the way she intended. We shall see.

Good local place to get a torque converter for my truck? should i just go to autozone? Going to the dealer is out of the question.

Have you tried talking with a local independent transmission shop? They may have access to better parts than Autozone. I try to stay away from mid grade mass produced stuff when it comes to internal components.

    Awesome.

I have found the city (Vista) to be surprisingly friendly and easy to deal with. At least they have been as far as permitting my shop. We shall see how the inspectors are in a few weeks when we break ground.

The container thing is in city code (I am sure they explained it to you), IIRC they have a 30-90 day max on them and are supposed to get a permit for delivery and another for removal. Are they cutting you some slack since they were pre-existing on the property and had been there since before permits were required, thus grandfathered?

Several of my neighbors have them, I will neither confirm or deny that I have had one for 3 years, nobody cares. Sucks that you have the neighbor from hell, hopefully she is a known "problem child" to the city and they will help you out with her.

Well they are sorta working with me, so thats all I can ask. Wish I had a different neighbor but I dont so...Im going to speak with the Enforcement guy in person after the holidays and see what I can do. I cant imagine Im the first person to be on her shit list, its simply not possible....just trying to take it on the chin and keep moving forward. If I am one thing for sure its persistent, as well as resilient.
This rig doesnt have reverse! And some people are not good for humanity.
