Replacing my LCAs with a set from TC just waiting on new ones to arrive and then make time for install. Itll probably be 2-3 but you can buy mine if youd like. 113k on them right now. Would likely need rebuild though. PM me if you're interested

I'm also looking for a set of LCAs if anyone's got some spares kicking around. I can get them at a few local recycling yards for $100-$150 each so I'd be interested in something a little less expensive.

Some people realize that the Moog ball joints and bushings don't last, so they'd rather get oem arms and rebuild them. Yes it's more work but will significantly outlast the moog arms. Even to buy new moog arms and just rebuild them with oem bushings and or ball joints you're still gonna put in the same amount of work so why not rebuild an oem arm. Hence why people are looking for used take offs.

Getting a little defensive over a simple observation. You've been on the forum 3 months, relax a bit. Not everyone has to do it your way.

Good to know. I took my LCA's off when the truck had 40k on it just to clean and lube the cam hardware and inspect the bushings. Only an extra 15-20 min if your taking shocks off. So far so good. If you haven't done that don't wait till everything seizes up! I think I'll go with the Moog assembly as I'm starting to hear some noise when hitting bumps hard. When I do I'll either rebuild or sell the stock LCA's. Only 67k right now though.

Wasnt trying to get into a pissing match with you or say you are wrong, was just trying to explain the thought process behind some people wanting OEM arms thats all. It wasnt about "winning" you just came off a bit defense over a simple reply. Some dont mind spending more money then necessary and more work then necessary just to know they have OEM parts without going oem replacement from the dealer. Its not always about what the cheapest option is. Im sure many greatly appreciate your input though.

    This^^^

I do appreciate the alternate option. If I'd done more reading up front, I wouldn't have put the MOOG bushings in my OE arms. Now that I have, and they're popping all the time, I'm looking for a second set of OE arms to reinforce and seal up, install some Whiteline bushings and ProForged ball joints into before installing back into the truck to never worry about again. Second set because my truck is my daily driver and I can't have it down while I do any work to it.

I have a 5 lug but I've been on some Mevotech Supreme LCA for a little bit now. Greased them and then ran them a bit then added a bit more grease. Been fine so far and I drive like an idiot.

Got my moog complete LCAs and just picked up all new hardware for them from the dealer. DAMN that stuff is expensive but looks much higher quality than any aftermarket brand. I think the difference is that there are channels on each side of the bolts that the tabs fit onto. This design must greatly decrease the chances of rounding them out like the aftermarket ones. Its expensive, but I think worth it to not have to mess with it again. What kind of grease do you guys recommend for the hardware?

    yep..
Did this same setup last weekend. I just lined everything with wheel bearing grease, except for the surface of the cams against the adjustment plate in case the grease makes it easier to bump out of alignment.

Yup! Everything fit together nicely and I expect it to last just as long as the oem arms. One tip, tighten the caster/camber bolts after you let the truck off your jack stands.

Awesome. Does that just make sure you don’t over tighten? Also, I was test fitting all the bolts and what not into the lowers last night and noticed that it’s not a super snug fit like you’d expect. You could rattle them around in the bushings slightly. This normal?

Just so the control arm bushings are compressed in a neutral position, rather than under tension all the time.
Mine were like that too, even when I took the hardware out of the old ones, they were the same. Once everything is tightened properly it's solid.
