If you do one step at a time and insure everything is done correctly and take it slow. That's my advice.
I suppose I could have just said that.

About a thousand miles put on this bad boy since buying it a couple days ago. Took it up into the snow and off some beaten roads..... I absolutely love this thing. Thirsty as hell, but worth every dollar when I fill it up. Damn thing eats everything I have thrown at it.

Well, my Sonoma run is not going as planned. I’m on East 5th and Watmaugh with a flat rear tire on my motorcycle. Are there any repair shops near by?

They don’t repair motorcycle tire. He says there is a scooter shop across from Safeway but didn’t know the name. Still gotta figure out how to get there. My tow service is telling me three hours. My just park it and get a trailer tomorrow to come fetch it.

I have a 12’ covered trailer we can use if you’d like. I just need to empty quads out.

Thanks. I may take you up on it, but a co worker says he has one. Will find out shortly the condition of the unit. Most likely pick up bike tomorrow. Wifey is grudgingly coming to pick me up. Little did she know I came up here to pick up her Christmas gift.

I may have tweaked a few things...
Yeah after I saw what was involved with the bushings I was thinking I might even just have it done somewhere. I did my front and rear shocks so i’m ready to get back in there for the springs. I like the idea of taking it slow!

Seems like tube may be ratted up. Stem spins around as though it’s detached from tire. A guy stopped to help that had a small compressor but tire wouldn’t take air.

@BudMan replaced his steering rack recently.

I know there is one bolt that in order to remove you either need to move the AC compressor out of the way, or cut 1/4" off the end. Sounds like a PITA.

I need to replace the bushings on mine so I've been looking it up also.

Wifey is not happy, but she made the run from Oakland to Sonoma to pick me up. Not much Christmas spirt displayed for her stranded spouse. Oh well. Have a motorcycle trailer available to pick up tomorrow morning in Napa, courtesy of co worker. Thanks for the net search @BudMan. And thanks to @lucky13don for earlier hook up and links to tow. Sheesh, what an ordeal this turned in to.
