Broke out the porter cable and the rest of the detail stuff and got some therapy polishing everything up. Funny it’s seems to only be therapeutic when doing your own vehicle. Finally?! HA! I'm in the process of buying parts to rewire a portion of my set up. New amp and just rec'd the JL steathbox. It's never done.

I'm still trying to determine if the new update to the idata maestro allows for the all center display functions to work. No seems to know.
If it does then new head unit and another rewire.

When you added the Gibson CAT back exhaust, did you notice any performance gains? I am considering the TRD cold air and CAT back for my new truck!

The plasti dip on my OR grille was starting to look rough. There were a few spots coming off... So yesterday i went ahead and removed it all.

I used a combination of peeling, goo gone, and a pressure washer... Took about 2 hours to get it all completely off.

I may go back to my sr5 grille soon... I'm not a fan of all the chrome... But what i really want is the bolt in Toyota grille from BPF.

I didn't take any pictures of the process... But why would I? Here's a picture from today. At one of my favorite little fishing holes.

I know the thread is “what have you done to your 3rd gen today?” But I kinda did do something. I drove from NY to NC and really got to know how it performs over a long haul. I love my truck so much and still do but it is such a pig! The slow get up and almost whining up hills makes me feel like I’m torturing the damn thing. It did alright on gas too....I’m not trying to be a cry baby but let me know if anyone else feels this way! Hope you all enjoy your holidays!

Had a 19/32 drill bit used it to drill out the drain holes in my 2017 Tacoma bed. Then used 3/4 tapered reamer to edge and funnel holes a bit.

True. But the improved throttle response and shift points make up for it!

do you have the tune yet?

because you're wrong, straight up. there is a more obvious torque gain from mid low rpm up to VVT kicking in than the high rpm gains. there is obvious improvement up high as well, but if you miss the 30+ ftlbs all around 2k you are numb. seriously. i don't think I've revved above 5.5k more then once or twice since since getting the tune, which i got in alpha before it was even fully released. and I'm on it daily. the thing drives amazing for a 3.5 NA motor with a fucked up ECU base and very tall gearing. reality. not that bad.

I got them from Ricochet Offroad and were $129 raw but if you want them anodized it’s an extra charge. They have blue, red, gun metal, gold and other colors. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

So today was productive! Installed Baja Design XL80's and Squadron sports amber fogs, andrxt.jpg squad.jpg xl80.jpg a rear chase light! Yesterday was even better i installed Icon RXT 2.5 CDCV shocks and Icon Bumps with Deaver U402 springs. Up front upgraded to 700lb coils. What a big difference in ride!

Great truck! Very nice! One question, why’d you go from the KO2 to the Grapplers? Any issues with the KO2,s?
