What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I am currently sitting on the garage floor questioning my life decisions thus far

 

Yeah we all have that moment, go make some coffee, find an album that amps you up and go attack it again. (not necessarily good life advice for other things)

 

I'll try that. The issue is it's so difficult to get leverage on the knuckle since I have nothing to apply pressure on - im stepping on the dust shield while applying pressure to the wrench and it's not working very well.

 

Okay. I did something. It's not much but damn it's something. Hopefully I have more leverage now.

 

Uh, don't fuck up the threads in those holes, they hold your LBJ on.

 

Didn't realize those were tapped. Luckily my screws didn't hit them anywhere.

Seems like it would be easier to work with if you turned the press the other way around.
Didn't you just get a bigass compressor? Need some air tools, would make short work of that.

 

Good luck, I had mine face down and stood on the ratchet to get them in place, not very elegant but worked.

 

Needs an impact gun badly, mine was too weak from worn out vanes, but I think my new one could tackle it.

 

I want one of those Dewalt 20v XR brushless impactors bad

Ah screw it. I'm going to Home Depot and buying the right size socket and using my impact this is ridiculous

 

Well you'll need a full set of impact sockets to go with those air tools then

 

Holy shit how can I forget I have impact sockets that has the size of the rod. I type this as I am about to start the truck. Stand by.
