Every two years. Think the truck is due for SMOG this year. Luckily my K&N HOT Air Intake has a CA CARB sticker on it.

That Civic I just picked up has a dead Hybrid battery causing a CEL, and that's the only reason why I can't transfer the title into my name. You have to have it SMOG'd before you can change ownership. It's in limbo until I figure out how to replace the individual cells.

TRhe silver part of the tool. Clamp that bitch in a vise after you get everything lined up with a little tension on it.

I hate to admit it but I do not own a vice, lol. I should really pick one up.

My grand solution to the leverage issue was to make an 'H' stand, screw the LBA mounts to it, butt one side on the wall, and use my foot on the opposite side to create leverage.

It worked. Not very efficiently, but it worked.

Also this is wrong. one of those stepped washers should be in there to keep that sleeve straight.

You're right, I ended up switching up the attachments and got the correct fitting with the divot for the press sleeve.

They are just quick fists, work great to mount many things. Found a set at sportsman’s warehouse and ordered off Amazon before also.

    :yay:

lol, should have had someone filming that - Tyler's Toyota Hour - today's video, how to install a ball joint - step one, be close to a garage door or other suitable vertical surface.

Took off the steering rack for a rebuild and to make putting the transmission back in easier and got all the mounts bolted onto the engine so it's ready for headers! That might be a little tedious considering how tight it is on the driver's side

I wired my house for CCTV years ago - it's aimed at the center of the garage. I'm gonna post the whole time lapse of the process from cleaning out my garage to driving the truck out in 4HI.

Man there were some stupid moments that was captured, haha. I basically had to wrestle that damn steering knuckle for three hours.

Maybe now isn't the right time to mention this, but you should have sold your truck and just bought a 3.4 4x4.
