    At least the Carlisle Truck Nationals is less than 8 months away! In addition to the Tacoma, the Chevy S-10 has always been one of my favorite trucks. I met these guys in an S-10 owner's club in Carlisle last year, and one of them is going to bring his 1991 S-10 Baja to the 2018 Nationals, just so I can take pictures of it! I've included some pictures of a 1991 S-10 Baja...

    And here's an extended-cab version!

    @Iamraiderpower

    I do agree with you, but I've also gotten into a confrontation for taking pictures of MY OWN TACOMA before...

    I cussed out the guy at BJ's Tire Center because I took out my iPhone to take pictures of my truck on the lift with it's wheels removed, and he started getting very aggressive, saying "no pictures due to legal issues" or some crap like that. I told him that "It's my fucking truck, and I'll take as many pictures of it as I want." I later apologized and tipped him $5, only to find out a week later that he'd broken my TPMS sensor. Things have been really busy lately, but next week I'm going back to BJ's to get them to cough up the $170 it cost to fix my truck's TPMS system. I have a bill from the Toyota dealer to prove it. FYI, I know he broke the TPMS sensor before I took the picture of my truck, so I know he didn't do this to spite me for F-bombing him, and the service manager at the Toyota dealer said he's lucky all I did was cuss at him...

    What kind of world do we live in where someone can't take pictures of their own property?

    @Plain Jane Taco knows this story...

    I was confronted for taking this picture of my truck from the customer waiting area (not any restricted area)...

    Quite frankly, the title is in my name, and I think that alone means I can take all the pictures I want of my truck...

    I honestly don't think I'm going to be able to make them pay for it, and if I can't, I'll just blast that particular BJ's on Yelp...

    @Plain Jane Taco
    @booted

    PLEASE READ! VERY IMPORTANT!

    I had a long talk with my cousin (the one in the 2016 Halloween photo with me, dressed as a "Cokehead"), who happens to be a school psychologist. Since 2015 or so, one of my goals has been to get the ball rolling and and become a voice for other people on the spectrum. My cousin is all too happy to help me do this, and thinks that among other things, I could make a huge difference by talking to different school districts. @booted , since you not only have AS but have a son who is on the spectrum, I would like you to be a part of this at some point if that's okay.

    One of my goals is to help give people, like teachers/school staff and police officers, a better understanding of autism spectrum disorders. Hell, I currently earn my living as a barback, and I consider the bouncers at the bar where I work to be good friends. I feel that hanging around with me has given them much better insight into autism spectrum disorders, and thus has given them tools for differentiating between the typical drunk asshole and someone who may or may not have been drinking but has a form of ASD. Everyone could benefit from learning more about autism!

    My biggest goal is to set guidelines that allow schools to differentiate between high-functioning individuals like myself and my friends, and lower-functioning individuals.

    @Plain Jane Taco , you have been one of my staunchest allies on TW, so I would like you to act as a third party and read some of the stuff I write in the future.

    You don't have an SR5 RC, do you? Of all the 2nd Gens, the 2nd Gen SR5 RC in either 4x4 or PreRunner form is the one I'd most like to have!

    Well, it wouldn't be hard to turn a base into an SR5. I've already put intermittent wipers in mine!

    That's what I have, I'd let you take pictures of it but I'm a long ways away. There are pictures in my gallery.
    I posted a picture of my truck in the TITS thread over a month ago without redacting the license plates and nothing has happened.
