The Kong toy is the only toy my dogs haven't been able to destroy. It has even been run over with lawn tractor. It takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

The wife is wrapping presents and I'm drinking coffee watching "The Cars That Made America". She goes to work at 1400 hrs till 2200, then I get to finish my little bit of shopping and get things wrapped up. I'm trying to decide on whether to wrap her stuff separately and keep them as individual gifts or wrap them separately and put them all inside the purse so she has to keep unwrapping to get to the bottom of the purse.

Nope :( the remodel is sucking every last penny out of us so it is a piss poor Xmas. We are going to Moms tonight and I will make a tri-tip but we will skip the family gathering tomorrow morning.

    And you?

just the usual quiet day with my folks and brother. Freezing cold here - 14 below - so I'm just hanging out before I head thru the river and over the woods

I'm just picking up some gift cards,.scratchers and lotto for stocking stuffers at the store when I drop my wife off at work (grocery store). I got her a .380 lcp, a concealed carry purse and a few boxes of ammo and I'm putting some scratchers in the pockets...not like I'm running around town....too old and tired for all that mess.

Happy Birthday @Casper66 you young pup! Have a great day!

Well good thing about working dogs is they keep you young. Wait that should be active and moving not young in my case.

Oh I have the Kongs, all of them LOL classic in both sizes, balls in both sizes, Frisbee or now they call it throwing disc or something else 2 of them. Stuff them with Peanut Butter or carrots and after a few minutes he is done and looks at me like OK what is next. Speaking of which he just went to the door. Again. Was just out half an hour ago. So who has who trained around here?!

The last time I had that was in Bamburg, at my girlfriend's mother's house on Christmas Eve 1984. I slept pretty good that night.

Just when I was totally convinced we weren't having turkey (since she put the standing prime rib roast in the fridge from the freezer 2 days ago) I find myself at Smart and Final yesterday picking up a jug of peanut oil because she has a turkey in the fridge buried at the bottom she didn't mention. So tomorrow I'll be frying that bird up.
