Grillcraft installed today

Grill came in mail and couldn't wait. Installed along w TOYOTA emblem and TRD emblem.

 

That's sick! Does the toyota come as one piece or is it seperate?

The emblem is a separate purchase and must be modified to make fit. Basically grind off mounting points on back to make emblem flush, then drill (2) 3/16" dia holes to accommodate extra screws that come with the Grillcraft grill. Install was not too bad. Cutting the old grill out was the biggest job.

 

The grill was $169. The TOYOTA emblem was about $45

SIAP: Where did you get the emblem? How difficult was the install? This is one of the mods I want to do but not sure if I feel like cutting my new truck yet.

Where did u get the grill from?

 

The install wasn't too bad. First I tried to just cut the center outta the stock grill (the oval center), but realized I'd have no access to the mounting holes for the Grillcraft. I used a jigsaw/handsaw combo for cutting the entire stock grill out and cleaned up with a file. I was very careful. Once the old grill center is removed, the install is easy. Measure twice, don't screw it up and it will look amazing. Sorry I didn't post and install pics, but there are several threads that show it. Just search.
