You know I priced it out with all decent parts and I was at about $1200/$1300 so for a little more I decided to buy a ready to go rifle plus I’m going to SBR this thing. Then it’s covered under warranty from Sig.....now I just have to buy Sig Mags at $50 bucks each.

Question for you guys running cub antennas in the bed. How are you routing the cable from the cab to the back of the truck?

I’m switching to a firestik and am not sure if there is a better option than taking it through the engine bay.

 

There's a grommet in the floor that under the driver seat. Most people run the cb antenna through it.

I wouldn't spray the fluid film on your brakes, but other than that it's good to go.

What he said! There’s one on each side, so you can choose which one you want depending where your radio is.

Just pop off the trim panel near the door, and you can reach your hand under the carpet to pull the cable up. Very easy.

 

unless your undercarriage is a fucking muddy mess. then wear some glasses and maybe a face mask

 

Well that’s just poor ownership I pressure wash my undercarriage after every trip because it’s a freaking mess.

Be careful spraying near cab/bed bushings and mounts. I got some in the bed mounts in between frame and bed and they creaked like crazy for months.
