I would like to ask a favour. To anyone who's experienced issues with Core, if you can send me a quick PM describing what happened with your dealings with Core and at what stage things were left resolved or unresolved, I would like to have it and print it off to be used against Core.

Tried to buy a set of ditch light mounts... They never showed up. Was pointed to him for a snorkel, that didn't show up for months, was offered to roll the snorkel payment into the roof rack cost, so I added a bit more money and now it's been a year since I've tried to buy a set of ditch light mounts. Another month and it will be a year for the snorkel. I believe March will mark one year since we agreed on a price for the roof rack.

I think I'll have to go the route of legal assistance to get my cash back.

Too bad. I was hoping for a local shop. Now I feel like I'm just giving some guy money to hold onto for a while.

    Junk!

Shitty situation. Similar to mine where I went from a simple awning to a rtt and fox wing. Got my money back but it was over a year.

Thanks for joining to write a review.

This just sucks supreme all around & for a guys first post to be of this nature is all wrong. We are already at the mercy of every freight company & buying parts shouldn't be like searching for dope. Knowin' this guy thru that guy bs. Throw in the Canadian Peso & the Taxes then pretty soon a guy gets delirious & starts buying parts off the Dealer/Stealership thinking not so much about what he paid but how grateful he is to get it. Way I see it, if there's no legit. agent for that product within a reasonable distance, it should get up here duty free. Now that's Free Trade! Sorry for the rant, it's been too cold lately.:anonymous:

I could write a novel about my dealings with CORE, I've spoken to him about his company 'running' before it learned to 'walk' but I feel it fell on deaf ears. It took me 14months to get back what he owed me and even still I feel he hasn't fully refunded me. I'm hopeful he can turn the negative around and bring his company back to a good standing within the community, unfortunately he has done a lot wrong and it will take a lot to build it back.

I stayed away from Core Outfitters like the plague after reading and hearing about a few stories about him attempting to or occasionally successfully duplicating US products and then lying and acting like he was making a superior or unique version. A guy like that, you don’t want to do business with. Sorry to hear so many guys got burned.

I should add that I’ve messaged Core as well. Basically asked if one story I heard third hand was true and got a literal giant FU in reply. I don’t get it. There’s three different start ups here in Alberta that all have a good reputation, two of which are new. Again, I think the type of attitude I’ve seen and heard displayed by the owner suggest his business will never be honest.

I feel me and you were kinda in the same spot. We both tried to get his project up and running and he still screwed with us. Hopefully you get it back man!

    Thanks for the review.

I think it will be hard to turn it around. Seems like there are more that were stolen from vs. ones that were given what they paid for. As much as I would like to see him survive, there's no way I would ever recommend him to anyone.

Horrible way of dealing with customers. Actually we aren't customers to him because he sees us as ATM's instead.
