    Hi everyone,

    I'm new to the Tacoma experience. I just bought my first Tacoma. A 2012 Quad cab (sorry for using the wrong terminology) 4x4. I'm in the process of moving to Costa Rica from Canada. I still have a 2012 F-150 back at home, but l must say, l have very quickly fallen in love with my Tacoma. A lot faster than l thought l would. I love buying vehicles, and l usually get caught up in the newness of the purchase, But DAMN!!! l really do love this truck. Within a couple days, l wished that l had bought one years ago. But since l can't change that, l'm just happy that l have one now.
    My wife and l have already been on the back roads of Costa Rica, and it handled the roads like a champ. I mean some of the roads were still heavily damaged by the earthquake a little while ago. Some pavement was lifted 7 - 8 inches in spots. No problems at all. Plus the other roads are steep as hell and are rock and sand.
    I'm sure you all have enough experience with that, but take it from me. A 51yr old who hasn't had to do that just to get to the sites that we want to see a town over from where we are.

    The Tacoma is the perfect truck. Comfortable, yet rides like a truck. Which l really like!!!

    I won't miss my F-150 one second. But i will miss my Tacoma when l have to go back for a couple weeks

    I just bought my first ever Tacoma on 10 November 2017. I have not got any mods done as of yet. A few are being planned after the first of the year. I got a brilliant blue sr5 crew can 4x4.
