    Straight piped with cats you might get it done, no cats in Wake, Orange, Durham and surrounding counties, even if light is off, good luck. Tint throws another wrinkle in the works.

    Take it back home to get it done if it works for you there.

    Honestly, if i "knew a guy" id keep it to myself, broadcasting it on the inter webs is a quick way to get them shut down DMV does troll places like this for this sort of info

    Pretty sure tint is a state wide thing. Yea emissions is by county, but even in not emissions counties its supposed to be a visual inspection based on what came on the vehicle from factory.

    TN, AL, VA, PA, NC (URE, hurricane creek, and the other one I won't advertise).

    I guess its about being from a less populated area. There are only 2700 people in my hometown and everyone has tint up there. I've got 2 layers of 2.5 all the way around, a 8 inch strip on it on my windshield and the rest of the windshield is done with 20%

    maybe i'm old/blind, i can't see out with the factory dark tint on my Runner or Tacoma to the rear, HOW THE F**k can you see at night with 20% on the windshield ?

    the pods are legal and my HIDs have a cutoff. I drive backroads alot. I try to avoid the interstates. Surprised I haven't gotten a ticket from the 5-0 in Wake county.
