Got a lot of stuff lol
There's a good handful of freq you can use license free. All my radios are programmed to only those so I can toss a radio to someone. If anyone wants I can bring my baofeng programmer to citrus.

Also If you get a baofeng, I highly suggest getting a longer aftermarket antenna

Maybe BTECH is the fancy brand. Id be curious if the programmer works for those radios too. I know you just got your radio but you may also want to look into a car charger or batter eliminator. I have one radio that lasts all day and another that dies pretty quick.

The audio book im listening to suggested AARL to schedule a test and find a location. This audio book so far has some great info.

    More like skipped off lol

Thick sand, not big enough tires, and abs still on. Dented the fender and bumper along with destroying a headlight and bending a tie rod end. I also dented a rim on that outing as well. That was my first time off road :spy:

You won't regret it. I enjoy messing with radio stuff and Amatuer Radio gives you a lot of avenues for experimentation. Plus, during emergencies like hurricanes, HAM radio is fantastic for assisting others and keeping informed.
