@cemented well what do you know? Seems I’m not the one spreading misinformation. Open mouth and insert foot.

    And here’s another one....

So that we now know it has metallic flake in the paint I'm still not satisfied...Want to know HOW MANY flakes are there. Who's for the count?

Spotted a special edition cement off road at my local Toyota. It’s a brand new off road with like $10k markup of add-ons including a lift kit.

Yeah I’m really not sure what “Spyder Edition” entails unless this is just a one time thing the dealer is doing. I can’t really tell that much of a difference from a normal off road with all the bells and whistles other than this one has an upgraded lift +wheels/tires + some new badges and predator steps.

Lol @ Spyder Edition. I used to work at a motorcycle dealership where the owner would print his own "racing edition" stickers and put a few accessories on the bike and mark it way up. I didn't stay there very long. I bet the unsuspecting future owner of that truck is going to brag to all his friends about his super rare limited edition Spyder truck.

The paint debate in this thread is painful to read. There are hardly any vehicles produced that have "flat" paint on them. "Flat" or matte means NOT shiny at all. If a vehicle has glossy clear coat, its not "flat." Ok, get it? Now, the Cement gray color does indeed have a metallic or pearl look to it. This paint really changes depending on lighting conditions. Out in the sun, it sparkles like crazy, showing all the metallic. Under cloudy conditions, it looks like............cement, but shiny. Under fluorescent lights indoors, it looks like glossy cement.

So glad I got the TRD Pro version though, those SR5 and especially the Limited with the chrome and nasty grille are just :puke:

Spyder edition or not, that is one sweet looking truck in that cement color. But the front grill has to go!

    Not much stock left.
What! They violated the "no lift" policy on the 2018's? I'm shocked. How will the TSS-P function properly?

Yes, whomever buys that truck is surely destined to crash without all the warnings from TSS.

You need your eyes checked. :) Just look up the paint code, it's metallic. Admittedly it doesn't call for much, but it's there.
