A lot of similarities to AKC agility and obedience. Except you fail if the dog attacks you :D

Do you guys use treats or clicker for behavior shaping also? Many that hunt do not, and call anything other than hunting parlor tricks. But the dog needs a job and it helps keep their mind busy and out of trouble IME.

She obviously used treats at one point, and has done more work than most.

This is someone training for the weave poles in agility and started with food as a reward. But being a retriever you can also use the retrieve as a reward as she does in later stages.

Eh, wut? I live further North than you but I live in the US of A :oldglory:

It's been a great day! I started getting to sleep in a little. I woke to find my beautiful wife had made me the best birthday cake ever! You can see in the pictures it's a stack of rolls made at the bakery down town and filled with good old salt cured ham from the meat cutters in town. Shooowee is that good it made my tongue damn near beat my brains out. Nobody else in the family likes the salt cured ham so i don't hardly ever get any. I was then taken out to one of the nice resturaunts for Prime rib. Christie got me a camping rocking chair and toys for the truck so a good day all around.

The hat is a tradition my wife and I started a long time ago everybody has to wear it on their birthday
