    LOOKS GREAT!
That's the same paint job my truck had before I got a hold of it...love the metallic tan with decals.

Gonna need a taller cup on that me thinks, but that'll get it started, you remove the snap ring?

    Yup. I did.

I gave up. I rounded out the bottom of the shaft and it's not moving anymore. Going to drop by my father's work tomorrow - think he has a hydraulic press I can use. Or at least a vice...

You rounded the puller, you weren't using a socket?

Nope. Couldn't fit a socket because it hits the lower ball joint mounts. Been using a crescent wrench on a piece of conduit.

I couldn't invert it and use a socket either because I can't adapt it to fit.

    I'm just saying!
This is what I did and split the cost with a buddy of mine on my first set. And I bought the same c clamp style your using just so could have the dies for the press.
Since then I've built an 80 ton hydraulic press so things got easier.

Yes I've done that too. Only because I live in an apartment. All the big toys are now in a garage I rent with a friend. Almost got the cash for a lift. And can't wait!!!
