I have a 2017 4x4 Off-Road and looking to upgrade to Cooper Discoverer SST PRO 285/75/16s, from the stock Goodyear Wrangler AT on the stock 16" wheels (for now).
I'm installing a 3"/2" leveling & lift kit, also Venom 2" wheel spacers before tire upgrade. Being first time mod, and upgrade to attempt to get 3" to 4" lift on the TACO, looking for any recommendations or if this mod will allow 285/75s to work on and off-road without major rubbing issues.
    Any insight appreciated.

I am currently running a 3/2 lift with .75 inch BORA spacers and I have zero rub(to include my Toyota factory mud guards). I am Running 285/75/16. I will say that the 3/2 will max out your uca. While I am still “in spec” it wonders a bit . From what I gather +3 degrees or more castor Will have this fixed, when my UCA show up I will know.

UCA? As a new Taco Off-Road member still learning and researching as much as possible my first Mods.
Besides this tire Mod from stock, new metal custom Grill, rock rails, true metal skid plate and the leveling lift and spacers are my first mods I have attempted myself for economical first year of Mods.
I wanted to lift it with as much stock for now to learn off-road techniques before more major mods and possibly larger wheels but know this may require re-gearing or new suspension mods.

Uca = upper control arms. I have been driving mine for about a year now without them, but finally bit the bullet and ordered some. Hoping it fixes the wondering and the light feathering to the outer edge of my tire.(corrected by regular tire rotation.

OK. Yes the install view said something about this for stock UCA. I guess like most I will learn by doing. (For better or worse). This forum has been great for Taco Mods and insight.
    Thanks and Merry Christmas

285/75r16 Goodyear diratracs, no spacers, OME kit with light duty Dakar leafs, Camburg UCA, fully armored and the weight of a SSO bumper with winch. I rubbed ONCE, entering a parking lot with a drainage dip, at pretty high speed and a sharp approach.

Love your rig. The roof racks and SSO bumper. what does that run with winch? I like that to keep the stock front look. I said to myself I would replace bumpers only if I beat or rip the stock off first. Baby steps with the mods in the first 3 months, want to do it all.

I got everything through group buys and saved hundreds, thousands overall. I do all I can to find a way to pay less than retail for my mods. I justify spending all that money in my head that way. I got the bumper discounted as a leftover from a group buy, had the bedliner coating done at my work and the smittybilt winch can be found on discount if you are patient. I only spent full price on my suspension kit from @HeadStrong Off-Road because their prices were low enough to justify the purchase.
