Raptor Style Grill For 05-11 Tacoma

    I’ve always loved the look of the raptor style grills on the Tacoma’s, but never wanted to spend the money buying a completed one. I found the insert on a local classified section and decided to make one myself. The whole project ended up costing me around $175-$200.

    It's a pain in the a$$ to do. Not hard just tedious and time consuming.

    Yeah I agree! It wasn’t hard, just time consuming. But it did save me $200-$300 doing it myself, so it was with it!

    What paint did you use to match it? Was it the dupli-color? If yes, did you do the clear coat as well? I heard the clear coat made the white a little different shade, so I’ve left mine matte white. Thoughts?

    I used the factory super white with clear coat. Matched the truck very well.

    Can you buy the factory paint in a spray paint can?
