I was thinking that too but just not sure if it's worth the extra $500 or so for wheel/tire/certificate to do so

I agree, and I’m not playing the “who can click their mouse button faster” game with some of these other internet warriors.

I'm looking to run the same front set up and already have the parts just waiting for install. You didn't do driver side spacer for the taco lean?

Just purchased a set of terra grapplers G2 285/70 17. Moving up from 265/70 17. Damn TW, I hope I don’t have to do any trimming, Lol.
Also I’m thinking on modifying the front flaps to be able to keep them.
    I’ll keep you posted.

I did, it came installed from headstrong already. Make sure you do your prelift drive shaft angle measurements. I have a small vibration and no pre angles to compare against to truly count that out as the problem.

How is the driving with the caster set at 3.5? Any chance that you can post your alignment print out please. I would like to have the same adjustments but they are telling me that it’s not possible.also fricking 4wheelsparts want $185 for the alignment and they are telling me that they will adjust it as much as possible so it doesn’t rub but that on the Tacomas, sometimes it does rub and sometimes it doesn’t . Not sure why it will chance from truck to truck

I went to a few different shops asking for specific alignment specs until I found a competent technician who could give me the numbers I wanted. I turned wrenches for 6 years when I was younger and I know what’s possible. And the total chaos uppers have extra caster built in.

It drives really nice and smooth, not super responsive like in a sports car but it feels great on Forrest service roads. Wheel is pretty centered up in the wheel well too.

    Hope that helps

    Merry Christmas everyone!

For those of you with 285/75r16, are you running Load E? If so, how rough do they ride?

I have been doing a lot of research and if I want a 16” wheel it seems like I have to go with Load E Vs load D for 17” wheels. I can’t decide if Load E are overkill for 90% highway/10% off-road. A lot of people aren’t o agree on this, but any input?

    Bilstein 6112 (set to #5 and #6)/5160

Haven't had time to drive much after install so not sure about rub yet. I will prob need to do some trimming and CMC.
