Great I am glad youve touched this subject. My bad I was tired last night! You should do a pin out it will be easier to get this maf I listed the part number to those are the same wires in different locations. You can buy a plug and play maf wire extension from URD and solder the wires differently or do youre pinout on that harness. Look on Denso usa website and put in youre year and make be exact and put that part number into Amazon and it will double confirm part fitment. Amazon is cheapest and thanks by the way with the help with the knock sensor harness. Oh my truck is a 2000 sr5 TRD 3.4l V-6 btw.

Ok great, the DESNO site doesn't carry the 95-98 MAF at all, Toyota does for 750.00. I think I will look into upgrading the unit to the 2000 version because it looks so restrictive.
The 95-98 MAF is very restrictive looking as seen below, is this tube section less restrictive on the 2000 type??

That looks very restrictive, Im sorry I didnt know about that setup, but get yourself a new dorman airbox for 2bills and you can use this newer maf. Looks like youll free up some flow for that boost. You're smart you did youre math! that looks like an upgrade worthy of a diy post,( save yourself a headache and lots o' money )go the route of changing the pins on the harness and swapping to a 98+ airbox, and be able to get replacement maf sensors for 55-75 bucks instead of 750.00. Thats more than a snow injection kit!

No, the Toyota online parts catalog is definately showing 22204-21010 for the 5VZFE, construction # VZN170 vehicle. Toyota also states that the -21010 supersedes the 22204-07010 sensor.

That's mine above. I just cleaned mine on my 1995 (V6). For future reference, what model MAF can I upgrade too?

    Found this if mine dies:

Well this was the one that came out of my 04 Tacoma with the 3.4 V6. I switched it out for the Denso I posted earlier in the thread. I guess Toyota switched around Part#'s

Right, the -21010 replaces -07010. No clue what the difference is and they were made by Denso, whose own p/n is 197-6020.

I bet Denso is wondering why all their Tacoma MAF sensors suddenly failed, because we all ordered one this week. Either that or OP is a Amazon psy operative, scaring us by saying the price is high, and then providing us a low price option.

There couldnt be any money in it for me anyway period at round 50 ea URD used to be 60ea but now 75, just showing my kindness and sharing this deal I found. Watch, Amazon will think this is trending and pick up the price Ive seen it before! This time of year a stock dorman 3.4 airbox costs around 60.00 and in the summer it costs 200.00+ literally. Why they do this I dont know, I assume people work on vehicles more in summer time so more parts sold demand goes up, raise the price! Heisenberg taught me that, lol.

I have my Amazon shopping cart loaded up with the Dorman air box and Denso MAF Sensor for my 1998 3.4L. Took pictures of my MAF and wiring harness. As usual, the wire colors are different. I was hoping they would match the 99 and newer plug. Either way, I was thinking about going ahead pulling the trigger on this purchase.IMG_20171227_095818.jpg IMG_20171227_095839.jpg

Same here, but DENSO has a different part number than Toyota. Toyota wants like $150 for the same sensor.
