    That’s unfortunate. They are the only direct fit shocks I have found that are long enough.

    Without sounding too dumb, what’s the advantage of going with a spindle lift over going with 5100s/coils/AAL?

    Maintains factory ride & suspension geometry, provides 4" instead of 2.5 from 5100's or 3 from coils, can still use your existing shocks, if you want more than 4" you can add to it with coils or 5100's for up to 7". Also they are much beefier than stock.

    Better ride, spindles ride just like stock. They also keep all the stock geometry so it’s like having stock suspension but you’re higher

    I really didn’t want to go up 4” - was leaning more towards that 2.5”-3” level. With a Prerunner (without any added weight), should I look at my original plan of 5100s/Coils/AAL or suck it up and go a little higher than I wanted and just get a spindle lift? I love the way the truck rides stock, don’t want to make it a “harder” ride.

    Well it kinda depends on what size tire you want to run & what your goal is, like do you want to lift for larger tires or just level to get rid of the rake. It will only take about 2" in the front to level it. I'd say 3" & up you'll need to lift the rear also to stay level.
    If you want 285's I'd say suck it up & go 4", I had 3" with 285's & it rubbed in reverse with the wheel turned.
    5100's with stock coils preloaded with stiffen the ride, I went that route for a while also. The 2.5 setting was pretty stiff.

    Are the tires here 265s?

    I’ve got the same wheels on mine, trying to see what it’d look like with my stock wheels while I save up for 285s. Want to get the lift bought and installed first. Would hate for it to look funny on 265s

    Anyone needing a driveshaft spacer? I have one and am not using it since I changed my suspension up and no longer need it. It’s the double drilled think 1.25”

    For me it’d be worth it to go higher just because it rides like stock. You will have to lift the rear to make it level. I had 4” spindles with 1.5” block in the rear and my front was still a bit higher than the back. I’d say 4” spindle and lift the rear 2” and you’ll be completely level, not too high and not too low.

    Not a short bed but this is one we did the 4" kit on. It has 2" blocks it the rear & just spindles in the front with 285's. He also kept all the stock suspension.

    I think what you're gonna try to do is gonna put your uca's at a severe angle to the point where they will almost hit the coils, maybe they will hit. Probably will hit the coils when the suspension drops on bumps.
    Also OME coils arent supposed to be preloaded

    Looks great. Judging by the tires I’d HAVE to upgrade my 265s to some 285s either before or right after the lift to keep the truck from looking like she skipped leg day. That’s the same setup I’m looking to do if I don’t go suspension lift.

    Doesn’t look too bad! Are those 17” wheels? Mine are 16”....definitely want to get up to 285s eventually but yeah....it might take me a while to save up

    Yeah 17" sport wheels.
    After new wheels & 285's, still with the same cheap 3" spacer lift in front but that is what the rear would look like with 2" blocks & 285's. About 4 yrs ago, so much has changed. Haha
