I'm on the fence about picking up some Duratracs myself. I have a 3" lift with stock rims and wheel spacers. I want 285/70/17's. Looking at either these or the BFG A/T's.

Everyone says these are not as loud as MT's, but how loud are they in general? Compared to the stock tires? Would you say they are 2 times as loud as stock, 3 times, no louder, etc???

I mainly drive on the hwy and noise is a huge concern for me.

I only have 265/75/16s, but I didnt notice a sound difference at all, and I drive hwy to work everyday. YMMV by going to that larger size though.

Dude...that's pretty much my same setup and I couldn't be happier. I would say they are a little louder than my stock Dunlop tires...maybe 1.5 times as loud if 1 x = the stock Dunlops.

For how aggressive they are, it's pretty much magic...
