bring your drinks and food, i though about grilling, but i'm opting to not haul my grill down. i'll just pack some sandwhiches...

 

sorry guys im out i have to meet the fam at my lake house my grandma is coming from florida so i have to go .......

 

One week out, I've been getting some recovery gear together. Hope not to have to use it, but just in case the sand is soft... good practice for the memorial weekend meet, considering this will be the first off road outing for the truck. Its been almost 12 years since I've done any offroading myself...

 

im ready to go. ive been looking up the weather hopefully it stays nice

 

Get ready to air down some tires and put the pedal to the metal.. the sand out there is soft!! But it also rained down here in gtown today so hopefully it will harden up. so the meet is this saturday right?

okay i'll come play for a couple of hours... I have a Liquified natural gas tankers exam and a Marine engineering test on monday so I can't stay the whole time

Well the more rain the more interesting this meetup is going to be, by that I mean the more people that are going to get stuck.

And if people could bring old rugs and shovels that would be great. That way we can dig you out, and put the old rugs down for traction to get out of the hole.

 

picked up a fold up shovel today, i don't feel like lugging my house shovel around. i'll bring some 2x6 boards as well...

 

I didn't plan on getting stuck, but if I do everything will be Ok, I will have some nice beverages waiting on me, while the wife digs out with the kids shovels.

And last but least; I might have to call Eddie, he said his "Jeep TRD CJ7", will come fetch us. He calls it the "Toyota Rescue Device".

I had planned at meeting up at 1030 at the Valero gas station at 16710 Termini San Luis Pass Rd (FM 3005), Galveston, TX. Depart Valero at 1100. We can convoy, I plan on leaving Pearland around 0900. Can meet you at the Raceway off Dixie Farm Road and I45?

Oh and im gonna have to cut out about 1700 so I can get home and get to bed. I have to wake up @ 0300 Monday morning

I don't like to have salt on my Taco, and with this being the most expensive Taco I bought, sometimes you like to see the food in the pantry just sit and spoil on it's own.

This fun is not like the Kuwaiti's Government Toyota Prada's I drove in the desert at 90mph. Drive it like ya stole it!
If any parts broke, I don't know.... But, we are paying for that fun now at the pump for $2.63 gallon, I guess...


I'll bring Michael's and your ratio of beverages, so bring a cooler with ice depending on weather conditions of coarse
