Between @CharlieCafe and his crew taking over and dumping all over colorado, and @aero3685 with his heroin like addiction to durafails I'm glad I'm leaving and won't have to be on the roads with the likes of you here.

I'm a fan of the diamond pattern chains. I've used ones from tirechains.com and Laclede. The Laclede are better quality (mainly talking about the tension portion, which was a sturdier hook), but I've used the ones from tirechains.com longer (I just bought the Laclede ones and used them once on a recent wheeling trip that turned into a shit show) and they've worked/held up just fine.

Pewag has a manufacturing facility in CO, so some put in a pitch for those; expect to pay more for them. Rud is another highly regarded brand. I've seen the tension portion/rubber end break on those (and that was only one time, and who knows what the owner put them through, or how they were treated prior to breaking in my presence).

Most of the shopping websites for tire chains have the search feature of tire size.

You can find chains on CL too. I found a brand new Laclede diamond pattern "class S" (smaller chain for more clearance) set recently for 265/75-16 for only $50. Hell, if they're going to enforce the laws more, I may have to look those back up and see if they're still for sale. I keep chains in the wheeling rig for all four tires, and throw one of those into the Tacoma if I'm going to be up in the mountains during bad weather in it... but I could just have a dedicated set for the truck instead. :drevil:
