    If these moog lowers go bad in the future, I will rebuilt my oe lowers with white line and moog joints too. I think thats the best, I just needed a quick fix. Atleast I will be able to work on the lowers and still have a truck which will be very nice!

    Same here. I'm gonna sand and paint mine, bushings, make em like new, then set them aside for the hopefully distant future.

    Sounds like a dam good plan. I didnt even think to give em a fresh paint job. Will definitely do that as well. What kind of primer/paint would be good for this? Some sort of enamel? And would you paint inside the bushing cups as well?

    yep..
    POR15 if you're feeling fancy, but I've had great results with rustoleum oil based primer and paint. Comes in quart cans. Nice and durable. I use it on lots of stuff under the truck. I probably wont paint the insides, it will probably get scraped off when pressing the bushing in?

    Gotchya. Yeah you’re probably right. Just picked my truck up with the new lcas... dam clicking sound is still there ☹️ Tech said it may be sway bar end links but I swore it was coming from the lcas. Any ideas?

    Damn sorry to hear that. Well, you could disconnect the sway bar and go for a short drive to see if it's fixed.

    That’s what I’m thinking I’ll do. Just seems weird it would be the end links making that noise. Upper joints and everything are new, now lowers, shocks/springs are new, new wheel bearing.. I just don’t know what else it could be. I’m sure it’s something stupid.

    Moog generally had a decent reputation but I put [shop did it] upper and lower Moog ball joints on my 2003 Gen 1 and within 6 weeks one of them separated and dropped the drivers side front to the ground. Thankfully I was going very slow at the time. The shop paid to have the truck towed 60 miles, replaced the front axle and cv joint which was damaged in the drop, and replaced three of the ball joints. The shop said it was a part failure due to manufacturing error and all cost were covered.
    So Moog makes mistakes too.

    Ive been hearing good and bad about moog.My problem is I have had a clicking both before and after the moogs went on. Just not sure what to think about it.

    It would sure seem that the clicking was ot the lower control arm. The only other logical answer is that the part was bad right out of the box.

    But the clicking was there with the oem parts still on. Leads me to believe the lowers didn’t need to be replaced but something else does

    My previous post was missing a word that changed it's meaning [my error]. I concur with your thought that the lowers did not need to be replaced. I don't know from experience but the guys who do my front end work told me it is somewhat hard to evaluate the wear on the control arm bushings.

    It’s hitting big bumps, super small inconsistencies in the road, pretty much all the time and especially when I take my foot off the gas and start decelerating. It’s hard to pin point where it’s coming from but it’s getting rediculous

    Yup. No play there. Just replaced my uniballs and bushings in my UCAs less than 2000 miles ago. It’s coming from lower down

    Yeah it’s freakin killing me! I can stop thinking about these types of things till they’re fixed, but this has been going on for a few weeks now. Hundreds in parts and still can’t figure it out. I hope I can soon!!
