hi guys so I stumbled across this forum googling a question about my 2017 tacoma sport. So my question was my rpms fluctuate while idling. So far all I have read is basically not to worry I guess my truck is adjusting... it’ll go away with miles put on .

Yes. The vacuum assisted brakes should cause a little bit of fluctuation. Like you said, nothing crazy.

just slightly turning the steering wheel will make the RPM's increase. As well as the air conditioning clutch engagine. Did you have the defrosters going? No matter how high the temperature setting is set, the A/C will run when defrosters are on.

    Oh, and welcome.

I like the looks of our trucks right from the factory. They turn heads no matter the options installed.

    You have to decide yourself.

Air conditioning compressor cycles on and off even when a.c. is off. That's the reason.
