What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Aimed to wash the cars today seeing as how this would be my warmest afternoon off this week.

Pulling outa the parking lot I spotted this bad azz Sport 4x4.................








Noticed a sharp looking 2nd Gen parked right behind it......








I really like the nerf bars on that 2nd Gen. Gives some nice parking lot protection from errant doors...as well as a handy step. I know they'd suck outright over logs and severe offroading, but they may be just what I need. I'd probably go with black finished ones, though.










Did get my thirst quenched and the cars washed. Son's girlfriend showed up too late to get her Toyota washed today, lol.

 

Yes. Call your dealer and ask to talk to someone in the finance dept. Tell them you need a copy of your window sticker or Monroney Label. They will scan it, or have it already scanned & email it to you.

 

I’ve been looking into these lights, did you have the led strip version already before installing these? If not, is it plug & play and the led stripe/turning signal will now work? Or does it require additional wiring? I don’t currently have the led strip model (sr5 package) & really want them, along with the blacked out housings.

Also, how is the light output? Any real difference from stock headlights? Better or worse?

 

Where are you from? I no the feeling I was born in Jerome then moved to Seattle when I was about 15 huge difference haha!! That being said I here Boise is getting pretty large, the separation between the towns like Meridian is non existent i guess.

 

Where at in Mt I'm here in Missoula. I also get crap millage. I averaged 15 this summer, and sitting at 12 now that winter has turned...

I went to my buddies fab shop today and cut & welded up a set of sliders today. I still need to make the bolt-on frame mounts and do a final weld-up. Then the hassle of surface rust removal and paint.

 

grew up in boise, just moved away this summer. was living in meridian before the move, and yeah there's no separation. ALMOST no separation between meridian and nampa now.. crazy how fast it grows..

Idaho is actually the fastest growing state right now.. but shhhhh... be quiet. If anyone asks, Idaho sucks.

I grew up in a podunk little town called Payette, near the Snake River. For sure, the Boise, Nampa, and Meridian have all grown together - we were there this past June visiting family, but compared to major metro areas, it pales in comparison.

 

Nice net! Are the connectors metal or plastic?

I was stationed @ Fairchild (97-99), so I'm familiar with the area.

 

Plastic. It has connectors that twist into the bed rail and a couple of hooks for the d rings. It's really just a bunch of bungee cords woven into a net. The clips are removable if you wanted to replace them with something like carabineers.
