    Hell yeah man so you still skate with your lil girl thats cool as shit. I finally gave it up about ten years ago It was always a hobbie that I did on and off until I was about 30.

    Thats awesome I learned how to skate at the age 7 and by 8 I was dropping in on mini half pipes

    I'm 45 and still skateboarding. I gave up street skating a looooong time ago. I love a mini-ramp session or cruising around all of the new concrete parks. I don't get out as much as I used to, but still manage to roll around every 2-3 weeks.

    I skated as a way to commute when I was young. Never any good at any technical stuff. Stayed somewhat in "the scene" since most skate guys I know progressed to hot rods and v-twins it was a natural progression for me as well. I started pinstriping blank decks for my buddies a long time ago as wall art. I keep a birdhouse board in the garage now just to scoot around a bit, but I wouldn't call myself a skater. This thread brings back memories. Now I might have to go watch Gleaming the Cube tonight.

    I just turned 45. I grew up in the DC metro area. I skated a lot from 7 years old until I graduated from high school and went to college. I now live in NC on a small farm far away from pavement. I don't have a SB now but have played on a few of my brothers modern boards and long boards over the years since. My 5 and 6 year old sons want to get skate boards but not too practical when you live on a gravel road in the country so they have bmx bikes and I have promised them dirt (motor) bikes when we move to our property in the mountains of NC (Boone area) next year.
