Do you know what cells it uses, some can be brought back pretty easily with low voltage and constant current and once the voltage comes up you can switch to constant voltage and sometimes they come right back to life. The battery as a system is designed to load balance when charging but if a cell discharges too far for whatever reason it may drop that cell from the array for safety because it's charge controller can't individually address it without affecting others. The controller may end up being an enemy though if it doesn't relearn.

That's cheap. Been over 2.50 here in mt all winter.

    Gas crisis my ass.

Was 4.50 in high school for me.

    Yeah..

You need every port either capped or run to a hose.

    Or it'll never run right.

If everything on the motor that needs vacuum has vacuum go buy some caps and just cap them off. I know on the later year trucks there are less vacuum lines on the motor.

On my 96 I had problems not having enough vacuum ports.

I'll be following this closely. My wife and I have a 2007 Accord Hybrid and I dread the day the batteries give out.

Alright. I'll see if I can find some spare tubing, or I'll buy some. I can't remember where the fuel regulator line goes off the top of my head but I think that may be a culprit.

Rustoleum Self Etching Primer followed by POR15 too-coat. Comes out with a semi gloss finish.

I had the Manual Hubs professionally powder coated.

I got the car for free, I can see why. Batteries are too damn expensive. The car does have almost 300,000 miles on it so I'm not surprised the Hybrid battery gave out. The gas engine is perfectly fine and it runs fine as a gasoline car but I can't get it SMOG'd due to the fact that the hybrid system is broken and throws a CEL.

Hell I'm going to go pull the battery right now and load test it.

Apparently they are 'D' batteries in series. I'm going to go pull the battery and inspect it more.

Bummer about the SMOG. I've seen people do an engine swap and add an alternator to get them going again as a gas only rig. Maybe you can find a swap on the cheap? We got ours for free too, only has 100k on it though and I think the batteries were already once replaced. It's a fun little V6 but doesn't really get much better gas mileage. My wife has enjoyed harassing me for having more power than my 2.7L. :(

no the fuel regulator needs to see vacuum. Plumb that to one of the open ports.

The bigger one is good for the brake booster. There should be 2. If you don't use the second one, cap it.

Cap all the other ports on the supercharger that you aren't using.

If you find something on the motor that needs vacuum, don't cap it, you need to plumb line to it and to the blower.

I think the fuel regualtor has some vacuum it's just not enough because of the other port that's open next to it. Brake booster is already good. It should only be a couple of things that actually need the vacuum to work right?

yeah and there is the EVAP stuff. Your PS shouldn't need it. And there is the cams and PVC. If you look on the hood there will be a vacuum diagram, at least there should be, just make sure everything on it that needs vacuum has it. Then cap any extra ports.

Wait PVC or PCV? Either way, I think that one routs to the open port on the back. That just leaves a tube on the intake which I don't think even matters

Edit: I don't have a diagram either which didn't help lol
