Id go arb if it was me for that reason on the first gens, it still wasnt huge and terrible like 2nd gens. Also when we took larrys off that things was like a blade on a D8 and would demolish a deer no problem at 50mph.

I'm hopefully picking up an ARB for my 80 today. The old ones aren't massive like they are nowadays. Plus this one is winchless so smaller center cavity too. The 1st gen one is kinda ridiculous though it protrudes in all the wrong areas and it is a flat tube in the front, no curvature to work with the truck design.

No but if your gonna spend money on it you might as well like it a little unless it's Uber cheap. That's the predicament I got myself in with the Badland haha.

ARB isn't much cheaper than most though, if we're just going for cheap I don't think anything is cheaper than the Badland maybe the trailgear. Bout it. One thing is for sure there's no deforming the Badland unless you hit a wall or a bull moose haha.

    Or just some real headlights...haha

You're so far away now! Over 6 hours..

    Still a good idea though..
Yeah I could. I mean I wanted to build one. A kind of hybrid of sorts. Was waiting to get settled into the new shop. I cheated death by deer for too long though.

    They are terrible up here.

Psssh, come on guy. You don't think I'd be willing to meet you halfway if it would help you out? Noob. I'm sure you will find something closer than me though. Plenty of good parts rigs in MT.

yeah the core of the truck is fine i think.

    Bumper
    fender
    Fender flare
    corner light
    headlight bracket
    grill

Seems to be the only damage.

Im glad its still drivable. Supposed to get 2 feet or more of snow over the next 3 days possibly.

Wasn't at first. I limped it to work and unbolted the stupid wing bracket that sits under the corner light. Then took a cut off wheel to the bumper and trimmed off some pieces so i could turn passenger again without rubbing shit.

The hood is fine, its the fender that is tweaked to shit.

Flare is junk. All but 2 of the clip braces broke off. Only thing that was holding it on where the 3 bolts at the end.

Headlight just bounces around, the bottom adjuster broke off. Think its okay. Didn't notice it yesterday, use my ditch lights as much as possible anyways.

Eric hasn't gotten back to me, but the more i look at it, the more i like his bumper anyways.

That said, might just leave it be and buy a winch and some steel.

Well its broken on the bottom corner where the head light goes..like smashed.

    It also separated.

I think i might be able to reuse the back part, at least the center. But the rest is too far gone sadly.

I still have my stock grill though. But maybe I'll get in line again for anyone Homer grill later. Sorry Craig! @HomerTaco :pout:

Glad to see the deer didn't flip on on the hood tho. That would have been much worse.
