Mr. Marv I keep circling around my system doing other things first, however I want to make it a priority in the next month or 2. I'm not a huge bass head and just want something that will add extra volume and round out the sound. The current stock set up has treble but no bass.

I want to get something that will not be mind blowing, but just round out the sound. I have clients riding in the car often so it needs to be visually pleasing also.

I like the look of this box below, but its just missing something keeping it from being "good" looking.

Mr. Marv could you make something like this that would replace the rear console that would not only function good; but also look good? I find the console to be worthless for any storage needs and this looks like the 1st place I would put the sub.

It would also be great if a amp rack could be put on the back side of it toward the back glass so the whole package can be pulled easily if needed! Maybe a door that could hide it from view, but easy access to adjustments.

As for the type of sub, I'm only planning on adding a lower level sub and lower level amp. I was looking at the new JL J2 250.1 amp and possibly a 10w0v2.....I like JL stuff. I will eventually update the remaining speakers but I want to address the sub 1st.

I think something like this will go over well and be well received :D

    Thoughts?

Marv, I too have been waiting for you to make something for my 2009 Access cab. So if you can come up with something you already have sold two. Dale

Wood is nice but I would also like it to color match. Dale

It would be sweet if you made the top part of the enclosure to have an arm rest... complete the look IMO.

That would be awesome. I just want something there that would replace the center cubby and look like it came stock. Something that could hide the amp towards the rear so everything is a nice clean package.

Just a thought.... But you do loose some center console space.

I like it, but the price of it ($550)+ a amp ($150ish) is pretty darn pricey ($700), plus I have to cut the console up.

With the box they have on the link above it is $150 shipped + $100 sub + $150 amp = $400.

Hey guys. My apologies for taking so long to get you Access guys taken care of. I've been overwhelmed since my move and my helper flaking on me but I have a couple of designs in the works and will get them going just as quick as I can!

Almost forgot, I am also working on a design that will incorporate a small amp rack as well as an armrest however the sub will probably be firing forward (I plan to use the factory bracket for mounting and the only way to install the bolts would be through the sub opening)

OK guys I have some basic designs worked out however I am having a bit of trouble trying to get them to "flow" better into the interior (kinda boxy looking IMO). How about if you guys send me drawings of how you would like the enclosure to look and I will see if I can work it out?! :)

Not really an artist Marv, but my vision was to make the center console up front continue on thru the rear. Basically continue the lines back......

No need to be an artist...a simple hand drawing so I can get a better visual will do! :)

this is the box you are probably looking for. I have this in my truck, it fits a 10 inch sub and gives you the bass you need, but not too much. You still keep your seats for passengers and they now have an armrest.

Ok guys Marv and I spoke and he is going to be working on a sketch of the box. The box will offer these features:

    · It will be a forward facing sub
    · It will have a space on the rear allowing a amplifier to be mounted
    · It will have an armrest style top giving it a better visual appearance and less box like.
    · It will mount to the existing brackets from the current center storage area.
    · It will have a competitive cost point
    · The boxes back wall can be adjusted when Marv builds it to accommodate many different airspace requirements based on the subwoofer chosen.

I will post a pic of the sketch when I receive it.
