    Local Toyota dealership. My daughter got the idea when she noticed that I was looking it up on the net. My son negotiated with them and got them to honor an online price.

    From what I've heard the factory aluminum skids get all dinged up just by looking at them.

    Nice! I built my rack this weekend and I made it lower profile so the light bar had to go above the frame.

    The basic splash plate is fairly thin. but the TRD aluminum skid plate is pretty tough. I wouldn't ram it into a tree stump, but they aren't flimsy by any means.
    It's also much lighter than plate steel.

    Changed all drain plugs to Dimple Magnetic plugs UNI filter on air pump
    While I was out and about today doing errands I felt sorry for the TACOMA and took it to the car wash , didn' want to keep the ice treatment from the Hwy there till spring and this car wash also does the frame.
    I feel better the truck looks better . At least it doesn't look like a dirty marshmallow parked in the driveway.
    Drive on.
