Like too. Don't think it'll happen. Granted im putting miles on them like crazy..

Speaking of tires. How have you liked those coopers for a winter DD Monte? My work truck is due for new ones and with driving to ND and Wy all winter, I am hesitant to change because thye have been pretty good for me. Wearing decent. I have over 60k on these ones.

Have over 55k miles on this work truck since April

 

yeah no doubt. Put on over 25k in year i think..

They are okay. Deep snow is great. They aren't the best on the slick stuff, but aren't bad. There are better tires for that stuff out there and also worse. For an all around tire i think they are very nice. Duratracs or KO2s would be a better winter tire though i think without getting a real winter tire. You won't get 60k out of those though.

 

yeah thats cause they are soft. plus more siping than mine as well.

 

Currently on Duratracs. Been a good tire the whole time I have had them on work trucks or my personal rigs. Just figured since the company pays for the tires, if there was a better tire, even if pricier for daily driving on crappy highways as well as lease roads to rigs, I would look into them more.

I have heard good things about the bfgs still.

 

don't think you can go wrong with the durtracs then.

 

Kinda was my thought still.

 

The inner surround and mesh should be salvageable...
if you can carefully separate the broken color matched outer surround I could likely fix it good as new.

 

But the color matched part is totally smashed on the other side.

Or are you saying pain a new one and put in the old center? Because....im up for that

Okay so i think im gonna live with the shit stock bumper for a bit. New fender shipped today(so did grants CBI bumper finally) and will get it painted hopefully for a good deal.

Gonna just go ahead and order a winch and build a bumper myself i think. No time like the present!

Alright. Any of you guys more read up on hot hatches than I am? My dad is probably going to sell the Caterham and get something he can drive year round... Contenders are focus rs/rs3/golf r ( @mizzac you had experience with the golf correct?) Any other suggestions. He's not going to move the Caterham until summer likely so nothing is happening soon. Thought I'd see what you guys knew
