This is definitely no longer the case. These are sexy AF.

 

It's a little funny that the Tesla has wider tires and a wider stance, and weighs more....

 

@foxrcing07 When I did my upper ball joints, the spindles were off the truck. The ball joint press takes a 7/8 socket. I used a 2 1/2 foot breaker bar. There's a way you can lay them over and use the "c" of the ball joint press for leverage.

It takes a good amount of force to pop them loose, but it's do-able. The threads on the tool are probably going to be really dirty, I cleaned the ones I had and lubed them well, before starting.

The upper ball joints were a breeze compared to doing the lower control arm bushings... but now that I know the RIGHT way to do those, they wouldn't even be that difficult if I had to do them again.

 

It does not weigh more, but its close. All the rest is true..

 

No shell or OSK put them about the same?

Unfortunately I do not have any of the three 01-04 bumpers I had at one point.

 

Yeah, the driveline bolts like that are staked (dented) to prevent them walking off from vibration or sudden jarring.

 

Thanks! But I have my stock corners and grill still. No way to mount the blinker anymore, sucker is shredded.

I don't think that is enough but I've never weighed it with the canopy on. Its always been with the RTT and rack.

The Tesla is ~4800 lbs.

I did the 9 year thing as well. Then went into credentialing program through La Verne University (I'm originally from CA.). I've been teaching elementary school for 18 years now. There are tough days/weeks/months/years, but I still love it.
