TRD Pro Grille for $140?

I got mine for $109 - the two piece. Looks to be of decent quality but if you want ABS plastic, you better shell out the cash and go for the OEM. I'm happy with it for roughly $100 but I'm keeping the old chrome piece until I see what road debris or a rock does to the plastic....

so I received my TRD Grille from areyoushop...... but this is all i got. No TOYOTA letters!! did anyone else receive theres yet from areyourshop? letters or no letters?? this sucks haha.. the grille seems to look ok but I guess I will have to contact them in hopes they send me my TOYOTA Emblems

 

Dang, ordered from them too.. They started off great but have gone down hill since, fast. I can't stop laughing at the member who got knock off condoms. That is freakin' hilarious. Hopefully he got his grill though

 

I just used some general purpose spray cleaner. It’s not really a substance on the surface, but rather a flaw in the plastic....presumably when it was formed. I sprayed the hell out of it with 303 and rubbed it down which helped a bit. I’ll see how the seller replies to my message before deciding what to do. It may be that outdoors it may not show that much. It’s gonna get dirty and plastered with bugs anyway.

 

Some say the letters come in a separate package

 

My letters were in the same box.....stacked and wrapped in foam packing.

 

It had foam in the box but i looked all in it... nothing. I am going to ask for refund and try to order the letters I guess.. Tired of receiving something not as advertised in listing. it was originally suppose to be the 2 piece but it appears they changed the pictures as of recently to the individually letters.. I have received niether

 

after getting ripped off by the Malaysia guy and now getting a TRD grille without letters from areyourshop ( was supposed to be the 2 piece anyways) I think I give up haha... I requested a refund stating that its not as described and did not include letters. After trying to get the cheap knock off I realize I could have just dropped the $390-400 and been done with a real grille. This just isn't worth it anymore

 

Man, that T and A would drive me nuts.

 

Hi, new to the forums and to tacomas in general. My first mod was the pro grille and I got it from ebay seller yan-linm with no issues. It is a two piece. Letters are held by 4 screws. It got here relatively fast (22 days since order was placed) considering the holidays are here and I live in Puerto Rico (it needs to get to the states before traveling back to the island).

 

For those that just got their grills from areyourshop-a and received a one piece with a handful of letters, did the listing you purchase from show a two piece or one piece grill? If you didn't get what was represented open a case and dispute it.

 

I just check my order with areyourshop-a and the listing that I originally bought it from showed a two piece grill. Now that I check it the picture has been change showing a one piece with a hand full of letters. WTF! I think I would have rather had a box of condoms.

 

I ordered mine when it showed a 2 piece grille..... I received the the one piece that requires the handful of letters but didnt even receive any letters... already opened the case! hoping to get a refund and then figure out where i can get the letters from. If not I guess I give up on the knock offs and will just give in and get the real one

 

I bet if you check your listing under your purchase history it now shows a one piece grill and the letters. I would mention that to ebay. That the seller changed the pictures of the item.

 

I received my grille from areyourshop today, 2 days after it was received in Chicago. No tabs broken and only a minor defect on the top that’s barely noticeable. It was the one piece with letters but the letters had tape already placed and holes to line it up. While one or 2 letters is lightly crooked it still looks good after the install and I’m satisfied. Not sure why people are upset about getting the one piece with letters instead of the 2 piece. My only worry is losing a letter but I’m hoping the glue holds up.

Side note, the letters were wrapped up in styrofoam seperate that might be hard to notice immediately.

 

Just got my Grill in from areyoureshop-a off eBay! Pretty satisfied with my purchase, fits great and looks just like OEM in my opinion. I attached pictures of what I got, I did get the stick on letters instead of the 2 piece but I dont mind it. Will update on how it holds up

 

I installed mine today too, let’s hope the stick on letters hold up considering I park my car outside 24/7 lol

 

Same here, considering super glueing them on?? lol

 

They seem stuck on there pretty good, I almost did that before but I didn’t know how the plastic would react to strong glue so I didn’t try it.
