My first major mod will be rock sliders for my taco. I hear a lot of great things about both sliders, but I'm leaning towards the Pelfreybilt because their shop is about 75 south of my house, so no shipping fees!

I don't plan on doing any extreme off roading, but more overlanding, so can someone who's purchased the pelfreybilt give me their thoughts on ease of installation because I've read on previous posts about some bolt holes not lining up. I have a late Model 2017 DCSB Off Road.

@Mobtown Offroad has 15% off right now, so with the discount it may cancel out the shipping costs (which are very reasonable). If Pelfreybilt is in your home state you will end up paying sales tax as well, another thing to consider.

I'm bias, but hard to argue with this logic.

Both would be great choices and both are the two brands I would prefer most. But I am stuck in the middle of the country where shipping costs from either are stupid high, so I would go with the local choice.

Thanks for your input guys! I'll have to set down and do the math for shipping/taxes on both. Plus, if there's any issues, Pelfreybilt is relatively local to me.

From what I've read people seem to prefer the Mobtown because of the added crossmember on the kickout for added strength.

I’m in Hampton Roads. If I buy some sliders from you guys, can I pick them up in MD?

Put a set of Mobtown's Long Bed with Kickout on a few months ago. I really couldn't be happier with them. They are beefy as shit. My mother-in-law was nervous to step on them because she thought they might be fragile (she's funny and not at all mechanical) I just about rolled over laughing. If they didn't hold her she wouldn't fit in cab... or the bed.

Funny you have one of the two vendors posting here and other is quiet, understand the shipping thing but CS goes a long ways. My .02

I like both myself, I only went with Pelfrey because of an Ohio group buy pricing.
