Joe, by best mounting system do you mean direct bolt onto frame with no fuss?

 

every other one bolts to the frame with existing holes, vs the mobtown one actually comes with a bracket that goes around the boxed portion to get more strength in attachment.

Only one I'm aware of that takes advantage of boxing the whole frame.

I have the RCI ones as they were the easiest to get north of the border since I'm in Canada. But had I ordered again I'd pay the extra and just get the mobtown ones. If I knew about how much better they were prior to ordering mine would've just done that.

We were not tagged haha. Our sliders have backing plates and wrap around portions of the frame as well. Sliders have been done so many times over that you cant go wrong. We would love to earn your business but you should go with which ones suit your needs better!

I'm considering a set and have a question. I'd likely order with zero degree incline as they will also function as steps for us. In looking at all the pics I can find online, it seems there's a decent sized gap between the top plate and rocker panel in the flat design. Is this left over from the change from a 20 degree tilt? If I ordered flat can they be raised a little? Or does the gusset weld interfere with that? It looks like there's space, but hard to tell.

We do not build them at any other angle other than 20 typically. Sliders at any other angle incur a $100 upcharge. All the pics you see flat were all custom builds. We have jigs and cut all pieces in mass quantities to build them at 20 degrees. To build at angle other angle adds a lot of production time which meams more cost. We will do it, but for a fee.

 

CS is important ... you should ask the member who kept getting the run around from Mobtown about his rear bumper. That will tell you how their CS works ... I have all Pelfrey gear on my truck so they get my vote and their CS was on point .
