    Did what most have done, with the exception of camburg balljoint upper arms which help with added caster and a little more wheel travel. Most buy uniball arms which are definitely stronger and provide more wheel travel, but if you want to save a few pennies and want a decent arm that will dial in a proper alignment with 33" tires, then a balljoint uca isn't a bad idea.

    Front: bilstein 5100 2.5", rear 5100 with TSB add a leaf
    wheels: ATX artillery 17" with -4.5backspacing and -12mm offset, with hankook 285 tires

    haha i never get butt hurt over the pre vs 4x arguments. but i can name a few pre owners that get really defensive. :laugh:
    i am more of a "buy a dedicated trail rig" kinda guy and not so much of a "thrash my brand new 30k truck" but i take my truck out sometimes:anonymous:
    diff strokes for diff folks. they are all tacomas which is all that matters :cheers:

    I haven't read what others have to say but if you don't plan on off roading and the only reason you want to lift the truck is for aesthetics then what difference does it make if it's 2wd or 4x4? Just lift it.. Plain and simple.

    EVEN if it was for off roading, who cares? Lift it! More ground clearence & it just looks way better.
