I have a ventless gas fireplace... don't/can't use it. Fumes make my eyes burn as soon as I turn it on.... and in the living room would be fine. LOVE sleeping under a down comforter and it needs to be cold in the room for that.

Pour some gas on it, light, will dry out!!! :D

    Living room!!!

 would be better than what I have... but no exhaust pipe :pout:

    Evening
Tried to catch up, read 6 pages, skipped last 3 ... one more shift tonight. Kristi took kids to Bouncy Bears, one of those indoor play parks with trampolines and climbing stuff. Hard for the kids to acclimate to the cold, sledding might not happen. :( We’ve got single digit temps now.
    :notsure:
    all I got is

    ... and now I feel like I’m starving.:hungry:

    Jersey ... you’re surprised?

    The bait, take it never.

That’s pretty damn bold for a Canadian ... I knew I liked you.

Again with the bait ... try FaceBook Pal. :p

    indeed

:) Glad to read this, continued prayers all goes well.

    :hattip: Evening Susan.

    Hiya Chris.

Thanks Chris. It feels like we have our oldest son back as well. He’s hanging with his brother tonight while Kristi has the kids. I guess everything really does happen for a reason... you just have to keep the faith and do right. :)

It's just some of the heart breaking speed bumps that can really shake you. He's very fortunate to have wonderful supportive parents like you I hope he realizes if you weren't how much more difficult this could have all been for him and the kids

Nice of you to say that Brother. :fistbump:
... he knows, he thanks us regularly. This deal has made me understand what the “old folks” meant when they said “they’re always your kids no matter how old they get.”

 Crap! ... I’m old folk.

I remember seeing them installed on new houses in '80's and '90's. Never could grasp how they could be good. They still install them in apartments. Never would allow something like that near my house.

And here we go, down the dark side again.

Well it warmed to the mid 30's for us out here. The crazies in Portland lost their minds again with a little snow and ice.

On another note, don't drop your iPad on to a tile floor unless your looking to get a new one.

Decided today not to go with the old truck. Cool looking, but I am hearing the build quality is lacking. Gonna look at new ones tomorrow maybe.

I reckon. Thinking of a way to charge the boss. (Not really). His damn phone went off when I was asleep after calling in and saying I would not be around. The house is down with the flu or some bug that's running rampant around town. I know, I'll go in with this fever and shut the shop down. Bhwwwaaaa.:devil::devil:
