Got Google fiber install in my house. Seems better than spectrum. Kinda disappointed that my phone peaks at 40 in both up and down. But the hard line and Wi-Fi are very high. I am much pleased. Lol

 

Merry late Christmas everyone, been awhile since I check in. Just been super busy with this new house shit and its been burning a hole in my wallet too. Good thing is we have got mostly everything unpacked, only a few things left here and there, got to get rid of a shit ton of cardboard that wont fit in the recycling bin before we can bring in more of the furniture. Got a new soundbar to go with the Living room TV for my own little Christmas present. Got productive and wall mounted the TV above the mantel and used the mantel to hide the PS4 and Xbox some to give it a cleaner look. Now just need to wall mount the sound bar as well and get started on setting up the garage.

 

How much is that a month? I'm paying $83 a month for AT&T Fiber, wondering if Google is cheaper

 

He had some nice heft to him too. Didn't do any measures or weights but he was more solid than the pic lets on. I found layers of meat on him that are normally just thin useless stuff on other healthy bucks. After he was deboned I would almost swear his skeleton weighed as much as some does we've shot .. ha ha.

I was paying around $100 with spectrum with so so performance. I was playing online with some friends for 3 hrs and no hiccups or lag for once.

 

Yeah with the gigabit from AT&T I have had no issues at all gaming, streaming, and downloaded everything I have tried to in like an instant. I was having the same issue you had with spectrum with the lower tier AT&T offered. I think they did it on purpose to get me to want to upgrade.

 

I expect you have two WiFi signals to connect to, right? Make sure your phone is connected to the 5G signal. If you're connected to the other that could explain the slow speeds -- or is your phone just that old it doesn't support 802.11ac?

 

The phone is a LG v20. Haven't done much research on what it can actually handle. I only have one Google Wi-Fi device but ordered another for the garage/kitchen area. Right now my laptop from undergrad outperforms the phone and its old. Lol

 

its almost bed time. tonight has crawled by at a snail's pace. Definitely need more sleep.

 

this week is dragging by. Being outside in this weather with cedar is brutal.

 

I hid in the garage yesterday as much as possible, today does not look much better.
