So I've had this loud rattle/clunk in my truck since this summer. Seemed to be coming from someplace in the dash whenever I'd go over bumps, especially speed bumps. I couldn't pinpoint it while driving and as a passenger MsWalla couldn't figure out where it was coming from either. A few weekends ago I tore the dash apart and went driving around trying to find where it was coming from. No dice.

Today I go get my niece's husband (another Tacoma owner) to see if he can figure out where it's coming from. Off we go over some speed bumps by his house. Two blocks later he reaches up to the sunglasses holder and pulls out a pen that's been rolling around in there. Problem solved.

At least I didn't bring it to the dealer for them to fix it.

Think he's makin' shy cuz the guy beside has a headache rack but doesn't that cart just scream "push me!"

 

I had a pencil stuck between the windshield and dash, took me two weeks to figure it out. Actually my son figured it out in two minutes.

 

I’ve got a huge, noisy lump that gets stuck between the seat and steering wheel...

Third day of the city not showing up for an inspection. I guess they aren’t using the fees to hire employees.
