We had a mod day planned for Saturday. In Kentucky, with a few "locals", a few more Buckeye's (Ohio) and maybe a few others.

9 degrees, wind chill in the - teens, and snow.

No mod day. There will be a fire in my garage wood stove. Not much else happening. Unless we decide to go to Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge in Seymour Indiana for a "bird count". (Which I highly doubt)

Sunday...Must go to work (for a while)

    Monday. Be lazy.

    Stay warm.

9 degrees makes for a miserable mod day for sure. Years ago, I promised a friend I would help him install some coil overs on his Matrix XRS. A couple of friends caught wind of it...one with an exhaust for his Scion TC and one with an intake for his Matrix. Basically it turned into a mod party.

It was about 12 degrees out. Never again.

Anything colder than 72 is suspect. Single digits is not even considered.

Way back when...in my Jeep days, I changed a clutch in my CJ7 on a day when it was -4. My dedication to the hobby diminished somewhat that day.

I hung out with a lot of Toyota guys years ago...some of them I still see. Matrix, Celicas, MR2s...mostly. Mod days were always fun. I used to host them frequently. Fun times as long as it's warm enough to feel your balls.

These days I'm too damn old to be rolling around on the cold concrete wrenching on someone else's vehicle with single digit temps.

Now...if it's nice out? Mi garage is su garage
